Louis Velazquez joined FGA Partners in 2011. He is a Managing Partner of the firm, Director of Emerging Markets, member of the North American and European Private Equity Teams.

Prior to joining FGA Partners Mr. Velazquez worked with Smith Barney, PaineWebber, Credit Suisse FB, Morgan Stanley, Lehman Brothers and Bear Stearns. He has managed over $1B in assets for clients internationally; initiated various funding efforts for private & public companies as well as participated in over $1B+ of private commercial real estate transactions internationally. He has been an integral part of various mergers and acquisitions over the past 25 years, with a proficiency in turnaround projects, restructuring of distressed assets and implementing growth strategies.
